Fossil timber stone furniture and sculptures

Fossilised wood or petrified wood can be found in a number of countries around the world and our fossilised furniture and sculptures originate from Java, Indonesia.
The petrified wood fossils have been preserved for millions of years by the process of petrification, a process which turns the wood into quartz crystal, harder than steel. Petrified wood fossils are known for their exquisite colour and some pieces of petrified wood have retained the original cellular structure of the wood. Minerals and elements such as manganese, iron, copper, cobalt, carbon, chromium and silica which are present in the petrification process give the petrified wood a rich variety of colour range and luster.

: The petrified wood fossils are collected by local indigenous people and farmers, selected for size and colour and then hand crafted and polished to produce stunning tables, chairs and sculptures.

Once again each piece of our fossilised wood furniture and sculptures is a naturally unique and individual creation that remains millions of years old. The furniture and sculptures will provide for a centrepiece or focal point to any room or garden setting and can be used internally or externally.
